With only 90 days left in the year, it’s time to start planning for 2025. Generating momentum now will set you up for a prosperous new year. What steps can you take today to ensure you’re ready to hit the ground running on January 1? Here are six essential questions you need to ask yourself to kickstart:

1. What do you want to achieve in 2025? Take a moment to reflect and write down your goals for the upcoming year. Answer this question twice: What would you like to achieve personally and professionally? Clarity is key—consider both your transaction goals and your aspirations.

2. What habits must you break to achieve your goals? Identifying and eliminating habits that hinder your progress is crucial. Perhaps procrastination or disorganization is holding you back. Recognize these habits so you can start working on breaking them.

3. What habits must you form to succeed? Just as important as breaking bad habits is creating new, positive ones. Successful agents consistently engage in activities that drive their business forward. Whether it’s regular prospecting, time blocking, or continuous learning, decide which habits will propel you toward your goals.

4. What do you need to learn? The real estate industry is constantly evolving. What new skills or knowledge do you need to acquire to stay ahead? It could be mastering a new technology, improving your negotiation skills, or understanding market trends.

5. How does your resistance show up? Be honest with yourself about any resistance you might have to change. Do you say, “That’s not me,” or “I don’t need to learn anything new”? Recognizing these thoughts is the first step to overcoming them.

6. Who is helping you build your plan? You don’t have to build your business alone. Who are your mentors or coaches? Having someone to guide you and hold you accountable can make a significant difference in achieving your goals.
